Ms Wee Ching Yun, Vice-President, MPMA gave a keynote speech at the HP INDIGO DIGITAL POUCH FACTORY DEMO DAY - GREEN EDITION on 7 October 2022, sharing her insights on Sustainability in The Flexible Packaging Industry. Ms Wee highlighted that being lightweight is both an advantage and disadvantage of flexible packaging, in which it scores low in its carbon footprint but at the same time has low recovery rate for recycling. This disadvantage can be overcome through collaboration from all stakeholders.

 

The demo day also featured a demo of HP Indigo's technology and a panel discussion with experts in the flexible packaging industry.
