MPMA and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) had successfully co-organized the MIDA-MPMA Conference on Government Facilitation and Assistance for Circular and Low Carbon Economy on 26 June 2024 in Petaling Jaya. During his opening remarks, MPMA President Mr CC Cheah said the plastics industry is committed to address concerns related to plastics pollution, by making plastics circular, driving carbon emission to net zero and fostering the sustainable use of plastics.
The Conference featured sessions by speakers from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), MIDA, Ministry of Economy, Bursa Carbon Exchange, Alliance Bank and Argus Media with close to 100 participants.
