The Talent Development & Employability Programme for the Malaysian Plastics Industry is back! Companies that wish to participate in the Programme/employ suitable candidates are encourages to register by their interest by Friday, 23.12.2022. Students/candidates will undergo training beginning Thursday, 29.12.2022.

Areas of Employability: Technicians, Supervisors and Engineers for injection moulding companies.

Duration: 1 month training + 2 months OJT/On-the-job training. Permanent employment upon completing OJT, subject to satisfactory performance by the candidates.

Expected Learning Outcome:
- Able to operate injection moulding machines safely
- Set and record processing parameters for production
- Identify and propose countermeasures for basic moulding defects
- Understand the construction and maintenance of moulds in an injection moulding process
- Understand productivity concepts using quality and lean techniques
- Perform product measurements using measurement tools
