Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator Online Training (OSH-C)

Many SMEs are currently facing unwanted attention on matters related to OSH as local media are continuously reporting various accidents at workplace, with some resulting in deaths.

In order to reduce such incidents, the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), under the OSH Strategic Plan, SME Sector, developed a Certification Programme to assist SME employers to train and appoint aleast one worker as their Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C). These OSH-Coordinators will administer the OSH documents and take appropriate actions to assist employers in promoting & practicing OSH culture in workplace.

The OSH-C programme exposes participants to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in SMEs. The programme comprises 10 modules to be conducted over a period of three days via ZOOM.

The Trainer:

Mr Prame Kumar has more than 30 years of experience in the Occupational Safety & Health sector. He regularly conducts training programs on -Safety Committee, Accident Prevention, Safety Audit, Fork Lift Handling, Chemical Handling, OHSA 1994 & FMA 1967, Safety Awareness, Safety Management System, Risk Management, Emergency Management System and others for more than 100 industries in Malaysia.
