Plastics Forward: MPMA Sustainability Month 2026

Rules Have Changed. Have You?

Every Thursday in November 2026 | Virtual (Zoom) | Free to attend

The rules for plastics are changing fast. The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is now in force, carbon costs are reaching export markets through the EU CBAM, and Malaysia is moving towards mandatory Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) by 2030. Brand owners are setting tougher targets for recycled content and recyclable packaging, and they expect their suppliers to keep up.

Plastics Forward: MPMA Sustainability Month 2026 is a four-part virtual webinar series by the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA). It helps plastics manufacturers and the wider value chain understand what these changes mean and what to do next. Each session brings together policymakers, regulators, brand owners, material suppliers and industry experts to share practical insights you can act on.
