MPMA participated as a strategic partner at Hari Cuci Malaysia (HCM) 2026, Malaysia's largest national-level cleanliness movement, held on 26 September at Pasar Taman Sri Gombak, Batu Caves, Selangor, and officiated by YB Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government. Our Green Truck was on-ground supporting the gotong-royong and recycling collection activities, alongside government agencies, NGOs, and fellow industry players. At our booth, we demonstrated the plastics recycling process and showcased plastic products available in the market made from recycled plastics.
This year's edition set two new Malaysia Book of Records achievements: 272,390 participants nationwide, far surpassing the initial target of 200,000, and 89,221.22 kg of recyclable waste collected, more than triple the original 28,000 kg goal. The strong turnout builds on HCM's growing momentum since its debut in 2024, and reflects MPMA's continued commitment to advancing circular economy practices and public awareness on responsible waste management in Malaysia.
